With over 100 participants, we would like to emphasize the level of talent all participants displayed from the preliminaries until the finals. Not only have they surpassed our organization’s standards and expectations; they have raised the bar for future competitors. 

Some of our Winners include, in our Brothers Full Qur’an category, Ahmed Bashir Ahmed Aden won 1st place, a young 14 year old boy from Nashville, Tennessee. He is representing Al-Farooq Islamic Center, where he began his journey of memorization in 2012 at the age of 9 and completed the full memorization of the Qur’an in 2 years. He was under the supervision of his teacher, Macalim Said Duale, who also had 5 other students that qualified as finalists among the different categories. Hamzah Elhabashy won 2nd place in the Full Quran category, a 15 year old boy from Maryland, USA. He completed his memorization of the Qur’an at the age of 10, he has entered numerous competitions including the 19th annual Dubai International Quran Competition, where he placed 2nd worldwide. And 3rd place was won by Huzaifa Siddiqui, a 19 year old boy living in Los Angeles, California. He began his memorization of the Qur’an at the age of 7 and completed it 4 years later. 

 In our Sisters Full Quran Categories, the winners include, Nura Ahmed, who placed 1st in her category. She is a 16 year old girl who is representing Abu Bakr Islamic Center in Minneapolis, MN. She began her memorization at the age of 10 and completed it within 4 years. Aminah Mohammed Raizdeen placed 2nd in the Full Qur’an, a 13 year old girl, who began her memorization at the age of 9 and completed it within 2 years. 

In our Brothers 10 Juz category, Sabir Dalal Qayliye placed 1st in Nashville, TN, Adnan Maye Busuri placed 2nd, who is also from Nashville, TN and lastly, Fahim Mannan from Toronto, ON placed 3rd. In our 5 Juz category, Mohamed Maye Busuri from Nashville, TN placed 1st place, Mohammad Maruf Hossain from Toronto, ON placed 2nd, and Yunus Bashir Aden from Nashville, TN placed 3rd. In the Sisters 5 Juz category, Safia Addou from Toronto, ON placed 1st, Shahd Bleible from Windsor, ON placed 2nd, and Amel Mukbil from Ottawa, ON placed 3rd. And in our final category Juz Amma, Abdulrahman Mustafe Hawamdeh from Toronto, ON placed 1st, Najla Gazo from Toronto, ON placed 2nd, and Abdulrahman Amjad from Toronto, ON placed 3rd.
